Tiny Pots Melbourne started in September 2020 when Hamish became fascinated with creating detail at a miniature scale. Although his background is in 3D animation, Hamish left his digital art career in 2022 and became a full time miniature ceramic artist.

Each tiny pot is wheel-thrown with stoneware or porcelain clay on a miniature pottery wheel; the average size is between 1-4cm tall. They are hand glazed then fired in a kiln up to 1200 degrees.

While Hamish throws tiny balls of clay, his partner Steph helps out behind the scenes with social media and photography. Tiny Pots have appeared in local handmade markets, galleries, retail stores and have even made an appearance on the ABC TV Show ‘Tiny Oz’.

From ceramic lovers to dollhouse collectors, tiny pots are loved by anyone and everyone, and are made to let you find joy even in the tiniest of things.
